UPDATE!

Dieter has discovered PEEPS!
and surprisingly doesn't care to take off the wrapper.

Geoffrey recently broke up with his girlfriend, Kennedy,
by walking by her desk on the way back from sharpening his pencil
and pronouncing, "You're dumped!"

Annie is loving fitting into ladies size shoes,
wearing dangling earrings,
and sneaking make up past her Dad.
She also got to spend Spring Break with her cousins! Heaven!

Seth is thoroughly 13!
Do I really need to expand on that?
Actually, he's still a cuddle bug, but didn't appreciate my showing up at the mall to hang with him and his friends.
SURPRISE!

Chandler is "planning" several senior trips.
I love the optimism of being 17.
Everything is possible and must be free?
He is loving his college Medical classes.

Christopher is still plugging along.
His legs are feeling a little better,
his spirits are still soaring,
and he was nominated for "Soldier of the cycle"
Kind of like a valedictorian.

(you have to understand and remember how infrequently
I can mention actual accomplishments by my children.)

Chris is not enjoying being "retired".
I reminded him the kids only have 6 or 7 weeks of school left,
and then the WHOLE summer off.

I am still enjoying my job,
but still not juggling things all that well.
I must say thank you to those of you who are certainly keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.
I have felt "buoyed" up on several occasions and can't thank you enough.

Especially, you, who left the diet coke on my porch!

Okay, this was supposed to be fun, but now I'm getting sappy,
I really am soo grateful for such good people around me.
Even you guys,
whom my kids call,
"My imaginary friends"

you are always in my thoughts, sweet lady!

sounds like the kids are right on track. i am just trying to get "bathing regularly" on my boys' lists of accomplishments!

christopher seems to have found a perfect fit! you must be really proud of him. (and of course the rest of them!)...

Ok so what happened to Christophers legs? (worry)

Also, I don't know if you showed up at the mall for FUN or to catch a sneaky kid but I have the fondest memories of showing up at my daughters school to bust her in a "situation". It rocked my mommy world-in a good way! I never thought I'd have the nerve to bust her in front of a bunch of people but it felt good and was quite effective. Good times, good times. ;)

I forget what else I was going to respond to but glad for the update!

I think we might have more than a little bit in common.

If you are wondering about your boy growing up...and the funky things that happen, have you noticed the odor when you walk into his bedroom?normal but ick. Sorry, that is gross, but I know this is true.

I wish I was 17 again...just the blissfully happy parts really.

I must clarify! I know you weren't "complaining" about your son, it looks like he's totally got his head on straight. It just brought back memories of my son (22) and how much I loved it when he was home and hanging out with his friends; and then for some odd reason my mind floated on over to the stinky thought.

because i am odd. sorry!

Ok, I'll comment, because according to your blog, you like it. Really nice to meet you. I happened in on a very descriptive post about your family, and I like you already! Actually, I jumped over here because you commented on someone's blog about refusing to potty train your youngest. "That's my kind of gal, I said to myself!"
Happy mothering~
