Dieterlicious!

We gave Dieter several IQ tests. Not that intelligence is important mind you. In this one you throw a blanket over your dog's head and then time them to see how long it takes to get out from under it. The quicker the escape the smarter the dog. Dieter didn't even try, he just laid down. There were no scores for being oblivious or disinterested. Everyone knows these tests are so biased anyway.

He does make a perfect snuggle buddy. Except for the fact that he won't jump up on the bed by himself, or off by himself. He also prefers to have you rub his tummy THE WHOLE TIME, so it is difficult to actually get any rest, as he just keeps putting his paws in your face or barking at you loudly if you stop. He also drools ...a lot.

Have I lost you yet? My kids assure me NO ONE else is interested in my beloved Dieter. For my true friends you love him simply because I do, he is now weighing in at 75 lbs and is still just shy of 5 months old. He loves to go for rides in the car, long walks on the beach...JK, I 'll stop now.

Dear Dieter,
I think you must be the smartest dog in the world! Hello... what should you do when someone throws you a blanket? Right, lie down, duh! And you have such control over your owner. You have trained her very well for only being 5 months old. She already knows what your commands mean for "keep rubbing my tummy". You look very soft and fluffy and very very big. Good boy!
